This is for you, Oh Palestine!

This is for you, Oh Palestine,
I can’t give you liberation,
Although you’re in your deadline,
Unable to release innocent from dark prisons,
Yet I know this is all a sign,

Oh children of Palestine forgive me,
I know your homes have been taken,
And that you’re filled with envy,
Yet I picture myself in a pool of molten,
Because your enemies live in glory,

If I had one dua to be accepted,
This is what I would pray,
That you live again in freedom and not end up like Madrid,
But it hasn’t happened yet, and I am not ready for doomsday,
When I think of you oh Palestine I weep like a kid,

You believe I have forgotten,
But yet you are so wrong,
My guilt can fill a mountain,
But I try to stay strong,

I know mothers have been raped,
And fathers have been executed,
I know all has been taped,
But none has been printed,
Watching you has made my soul misshaped,
But from the mercy of Allah you are not ousted,

There will be a day,
When children will run free,
musjid Al Aqsa wont be locked Friday,
And their will be no Zionist Nazi,

But that day has not come,
So I give you this oh Palestine,
I will make dua for you until you blossom,
So that until Isa comes, Palestine will be your bloodline
And this ummah will bring justice from the Palestine Kingdom

It would be better, and more keeping with reality and ethical behavior, to hope for the time where Israelis and Palestinian can live side-by-side in peace, each within a homeland in which their respective children can fulfill their potential, be they Jew, Muslim, Christian, etc.

Respectfully,

Jazakumallah khayr this is a good topic  especially the flash one with al qudsu tunadyna in the background, this was really :crying:

I thought to add this, its a "nursery rhyme" from Palestinian kids. Very sad to look @ the effect the occupation had on them and how they are growing up to think in this way, rather than being carefree even during their childhood

"I am the child of Palestine

I have my cause and I have my rights

When I see my older brother

Taken up into outlaw’s hands

I cry out the international cry
That if they shoot me to my death

I’ll clutch a stone in my right hand

And never forget the martyrs’ cause.” (http://www.ummah.com/forum/#_ftn1)
