They did one like this at Brent Town Hall last year with Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq, AHmad Thomson, Khalid Yaseen and Shaykh Zahid << (me thinks it was him)
alhamdulillah this was really very inspirational :)
lil bro met khalid yaseen and since then wants to attend all his events when he comes to the UK :)

Salaams,
As one of the organisors, I can confirm that the event will start at 3pm - but last year a HUGE crowd gathered outside we are opening the doors at 2:30pm insha'Allah.
Main reason we are starting early because we have an action packed line up insha'Allah - Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq could not make it, but to add to the line up is George Galloway - his office confirmed his attendance a few days ago.
Here is the advert again and if you have not reserved your tickets, there are only 1000 seats and 600 are already gone, so book online now to avoid disappointment.

Jazak Allah Khair for your booking. The tickets wont be posted. When you arrive at the event, you simply give the name you used to book the tickets (bring some ID with you, like the PayPal invoice) and you will be given admission and food tokens. Hope this helps. :)

will there be parking on surrounding streets?.... since the Wembley stadium opened I find it difficult parking round the area on weekends....permits etc :S
parking at the town hall is quite limited from what i noticed last year
BTW not grumbling just checkin' they might hve a wembley event so limited parking

Alhamdulillaah it was a fantastic event...all proceeds raised will go to Masjid at Taqwa in Harlesden.
Bro Khalid Yaseen was a very inspiring speaker and managed to help raise 100,000 pounds from the crowds subhanAllaah :D

It was so empty towards the end! You should have stayed :smack: the Shaykh that was on afterwards was so good! He spoke about the history of Islam and the battles (Uhud, Mongols etc), the victories, Palestine, Guantanamo and the fact that the help of Allah(swt) is yet o come due to our own actions :o ! and he was well fired up (reminded me a lot of brother Murtaza Khan) which I like! :D

Imam Zahir Mahmood - alhamdulillah I saw him last year - but had to get home - cos my car was parked on some dodgy side street behind that haraam Sam's chicken place :smack:

Shaykh Yusuf Estes will be doing Islam Q&A on Islam Channel on Monday and Tuesday! :D
He may also be doing something on Luton on one of those days but nothing is confirmed as of yet as he has only just extended his stay in the UK! Insha'allah, I will post up once confirmed! :up:

As-salaamu-alaykum,
It was definitely hot! We'll have to get even bigger AC's next time!
It was good to hear you all enjoyed the event, alhamdulillah. We hope you liked the surprise of Khalid Yasin - since we did not advertise him. For me personally, witnessing the Shahada's on stage was so excellent!! Also, did you see the young boy who recited the Quran? He was fantastic masha'Allah.
A lot of preparation went in to it and it meant all the brothers and sisters working together for one cause - to serve Allah (swt). Insha'Allah - there will be another one next year and we're already on to it! :up:

Allahuakbar! this event was so amazing mash'Allah everything about it was just on point Alahmduliallah. highlights of the day would have to be the young brother who recited the quran as an intro...SUBHNA'ALLAH, the two who took their shahdah...ALLAHUAKBAR! Sheikh Khalid Yassin...MASH'ALLAH...i honestly couldnt give y'day event any justice all i can say is Takbeer :D

i had to go to a talk, felt like too long that hadnt been...alhamdulilah mashallah it was beneficial !
