can u please explain the difference between the two , to's in arabic:

i.e:

"lee" with a laam


and the other one is "ilaa"

what sentences should each be used in ? please give examples if possible

okay lee with just a lam is more of a possessive whereas ilaa is used to show direction. we have this in english aswell but we use the same word "to"

like if you say "this belongs to Ahmed" or "I am going to the shop" see there is slight difference in substance of what ur actually saying... so the Arabic reflects that difference in chosing a slightly dif word for it.

so to give those examples in arabic aswelll

j/k sis, yeh i get what ur saying (i think)

so ilaa is used wen talking about direction and places?

and wen talking about lee, we are talking about people?
