I think it's fair to say most of us have our preferences and i think it's save to say most of us girls prefer our husbands to be taller than us even if it's by a little bit...

Me personally ideally i'd like him to be taller inshAllah, the taller the better...however noway in my right mind would i turn down a good pious mu'min brother because he was the same height as me or a tinny bit less...

Its probably nothign to do with Deen (ofcourse it isnt). Its just a preference for many i guess. I guess a tall man would symbolise protection and security.. maybe thats what it is. For others its as simple as it being a shallow/superficial like.

It's true, height really shouldn't be a big issue as in saying so n so have to be a specific height, yet on the other hand, some people have their preferences, and if something like height it important to them, so be it. Yea that's a good thing, learn to ignore stupid stares and stupid remarks from small minded people, and who knows what's in their heart maybe they are jelous and wanting to be in the shoes of those they insult, mock and stare at.
