Not at all, i was just joking back there, i believe women should be free to choose who they marry, so it's not like it was something personal or i was being sarcastic or anything.

And i only use :D :) :| :0: as expressions, mostly :| though.

well i'd guess it's similar to how sheikh riyadhul haq mentioned peoples 'excuses' for giving zakaah, he said they say "it makes me feel less guilty about my wealth" or something to that effect, so similarly i suppose they talk about it on a forum so that they can feel less guilty about it cos they see many other people are also the same :|

he should be atleast an inch or two taller :D i'm not that tall anyways, plus, i find that guys who are shorter tend to go for petite girls, so it's no big deal really

I know a brother, the most amazing that got turned down because he was a inch shorter. Mashallah that same brother married a arab girl and lives in dubai while the sister that rejected him is currently divorced :(
