Dear brothers and sisters, if I may recommend to you studying Tawheed as your first step into expanding your knowledge of Islam. Islam starts with the Shahadah, but understanding it and knowing its full meaning {Tawheed of it}, will Inshaallah keep you from falling into shirk and many other sins. This is very important because Allah said in the Quran; “Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with Him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He please” (Surah An-Nisa’, 4:48).

---This website has many lectures and books on Tawheed.
