If anyone or all of you decide to go you are welcome to contact me for suggestions as to how to organise your own trip or form your own group and what to do next.

I can, if you wish, organise your visa too. BUT NOT the package because doing that would be commercialising my involvement. I will name a few groups for you to choose too.

I am off to Jedda this afternoon, InshaAllah, to renew my Umra license. Make Du'a for a speedy completion so that I am back home soon.

Hajji is a freelance agent brokering a few other tour company's packages.

July is a holiday period for the Saudis as well as for all of us in the west. That's why the cost is high.

However, if you try the following to see whether they can offer you a good deal: They are independant licensed agents unlike Hajji.

1. Khadimul Hujjaj - Blackburn 01254 699 618
2. Rainbow Travels - Willesden Green. Look up their website.
3. Khidmah Travels - London. 079 62129 069. This one uses my license.
4. Hijaz Travel - Ilford. 020 8514 1816.
5. To Haram Ltd - Birmingham. 0121 784 1626
6. Teladia Tours - Birmingham 0121 356 0786

This is just suggestion from me for an economical package and you need to deal directly with them.

For 4/5 star packages you will need to contact

1. Al Hidayah - Birmingham
2. Rainbow Travels - Willesden Green.
3. Afta Tours - Hayes.

Dear brothers and sisters,

This hajjis guy is a fony.

He and his ‘double role’ naseer have been using this act of worship (Hajj and Umrah) to rip people off.

This has been clearly exposed in the following pages of this site.

http://www.ummah.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1900348#post1900348

Please also read the following posts by ‘arabic courses’

assalaamu alaikum

( sorry if you already read this, but I am doing this so that everyone stays away from the compulsive liar)

Oh my muslim brothers and sisters in Islaam! Dont believe these two people as they are LIARS!

I know that you may be asking me "How do you know brother! how can you say that without proof! this is slander brother!"

Well, its simple, look at how they both got exposed here

http://forums.islamicawakening.com/s...ead.php?t=5108

Prepare yourself, it will make you laugh you head off at their lies, but Allaah will expose those who use this act of worship (Hajj and Umrah) to rip people off.

Aye. They're too much of a hassle if you ask me.

My dad is freakishly good with directions...Subhan'Allah, he pretty much knows all of Jeddah and most of Makkah and Madinah by heart. We just get our passports (+ visa if needed) and get on a plane and things just fall into place from there...

I have no comments to make about Road to Makkah.

I can safely say that the company they are contracted with in Saudi Arabia is a highly reputable one..Qassawa..
Further, not many umra companies in Saudi Arabia has Indo/Pakistanis employed at executive level. Qassawa does and have two brothers at very senior level.
Hence, if there is a problem..and believe me there always is a problem...you can actually relate to them in English or Urdu which is not what you can get from others as no one speaks English in the first place and you will feel like banging your head against the walls.

So, get Road to Makkah to give you contact numbers for their agents in Jeddah and , InshaAllah, you will be OK.

I am NOT contracted to Qassawa by the way but I know them because I am in this business 16 years now and know , AlHamdo Lillah, most of the things and people over there and over here in UK.

Brothers and Sisters can contact me in private should they wish to have more specific info which I cannot provide in open forums for obvious reason of slander...may Allah forbid.

We’re back :) well we’ve been back for a couple of days now – I’ve just been a bit busy (and very tired after not sleeping properly for two weeks!) also I kinda like not having the comp (shock horror I know lol) so I was a bit reluctant to turn it on again – letters from uni that needed sorting forced me to….

The weather in Saudi is hot. Very hot. When we stepped off the plane we felt a rush of hot air on us and we thought it was the engine of the plane – and then realised that it was the weather outside lol. The area surrounding Haram is so built up now – its kinda sad coz before as you approached you could see it and now the hotels block it. We found out that in these big hotels two floors are made into a masjid and they have a loudspeaker link with Haram. Theres lots of construction work going on to extend the Sa’i place – on our last day there they were taking this huge crane out and we had to walk all the way round to get back to our hotel. We all performed Umrah, first time at around midday when it was sooo hot outside, second time around fajr time (my sister and brother and I got separated from the rest of the family after tawaaf and we spent hours searching for eachother). My brother got his hair shaved off and his head is all spiky now – he’s sick of us all putting our hands over it lol. Makkah is peaceful and lively – the masjid where you just want to sit and read Quran all the time :) and the streets filled with shops that never seemed to close lol
Madinah is so peaceful :inlove:Its so lovely there when the prayers are going on – you can actually feel something like waves of relaxation over you as you pray in the masjid there :). You really cant describe it but you have to experience it. My brother wasn’t allowed to come into the womens section with us (even though he’s only five – he looks a bit older though) so he went with my dad which was good coz my dad didn’t have to be alone.

Our travel agent was really good overall – we got really nice hotels – the only problems we had was when it came to travelling by car (like from Makkah to Madinah) We think the job of taking us from place to place was passed through many ppl so it kinda got confusing, though I have to say the driver on our last trip to the airport…well his boss seemed like he’d never seen a suitcase in his life before…my dad ended up climbing on the van to put the luggage up securely and my sisters and I had to unload everything at the airport lol.
One thing we’ve all realised is that we really need to learn a bit more Arabic than just ‘yes’ ,‘no’ and ‘khalas’(which means stop or that’s it or something) and the numbers to ten. My dad could speak to ppl in Urdu but us lot could only speak English so it caused us problems and unfortunately didn’t help when we really needed to be understood.
Can I just ask anyone else who went this summer (sisters esp) did any of you get bothered by shopkeepers or other men there? Bothered in a sense that they kept asking you where you were from or to come look in their shops or, unfortunately, being a bit well, pervy? Its just that we had a bit of trouble – I think if we could speak the language it would’ve helped a bit though.

When we got back first of all we were all freezing (it was 22 here I think lol) then after we’d readjusted to the weather – for me I kinda felt depressed to be back. I was nice living in an Islamic environment where everyone’s dressed decently and I really missed that when we came back (so much so that I refused to go out shopping anywhere apart from tooting so at least I would see other sisters in hijab lol) but seriously I still do miss that over there everyone around you is muslim and you fit in and here its like another planet to over there and although we fit in too its not the same at all.
Overall – we all had a brilliant time and I feel it as a good opportunity now to begin new ways and to change some things for the better :)

according to the rules of the clergy to whom intent never seems to matter, "going to get married" is not enough. they must be married otherwise they will categorize as non-mehrams.

My comment doesn't express my views. Just quoting the culture.

I don't have an answer either, except that The Noble Quraan and the beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) impose no such restrictions. But the mullahs do. From your above comments it implies that YOU think the Mullahs are not following advice from the Quran and the prophet PBUH.

Also you asked a question but i felt judging by your attitude towards Mullahs it would not matter what the Mullahs say as you think they are cunning and not following the Quran and Sunnah!

It is very dangerous to deviate away from the people of knowledge and come up with ones own interpretation of Islam..

Allah swt has told us in the Quran that if we dont know then go to the people of Knowledge ie Mullahs...

No doubt there are many Mullahs who are not giving sincere advice from Islam but that does not mean that they all are deviated.
