alhamdulillah thats what Im doing atm.

But got not just deeni kitabs but general ones aswell - being wellread is a must methinks.

deeni kitabs - you have to have the basics atleast.

Fiqh, tafseer, aqaa'id and seerah are a must.

depends on yr level

For the general public:

Tafseer:

Ma'aariful Quran (8 vols)
by Mufti Muhammad Shafee rahimahullah and Mufti Taqi hafizahullah

Fiqh:

Bahishti Zewar
Hadrat Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanwi rahimahullah

Hanafi Handbook of Fiqh
Qadhi Thanaullah PaniPatti rahimahullah

Aqaa'id:

The Aqeedah of Imam Tahawi rahimahullah

Seerah:

The Sealed Nectar
Mawlana Mubarakpuri rahimahullah.

If your studying deen with an alim then the kitabs that they teach are most beneficial - and they can go into many volumes.

Organisation:

There is a way of doing it with respect.

Quran at the top.
then Tafseer
then Ahadeeth/Seerah
then Aqaa'id (or Aqaa'id betwenn Tafseer and Seerah)
Then Fiqh
Then the general kitabs.

If a person has arabic kitabs of language/grammar - they could be slotted anywhere but mine are with the Quran.
