Assalamualikum Wa Rahmatullah,

I was booked for Hajj last year with Al-Hidaayah (UK) but it was cancelled a week before we were due to depart because of the visa fiasco. I am trying to book it for this year Inshallah.

We went with Al Hidaayah Dec/Jan 2007 Alhamdulillah, an amazing group! Very dedicated brothers leading the groups, very very organised, and will prepare you 100% Masha allah. They are expensive compared to other groups, but claim to be the UK leaders in the Hajj market. I highly recommend Al Hidaayah.

Hajj is a beatiful experience, Masha allah. Once you've been you just want to go again and again :)

Assalamu alaikum,

There's The Hajj & Umrah Roadshow coming up in July 2007 where you will have the opportunity to meet numerous Hajj and Umrah tour operators advertising their company/packages, islamic clothing and bookstores. There'll also be speaker sessions on the obligations of Hajj (according to the Qur'an and Sunnah), Practicalities of Hajj, Health awareness and Question & Answer slots.

The event is taking place in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leicester.

It's a good place for you to check out different packages inshaAllah and get some tips and advice.

Assalamu alaikum,

If you have had any issues regarding your Hajj and Umrah Travels then email the Voice for British Pilgrims - The Council of British Haji's. Goto www.the-cbh.org.uk or email info@the-cbh.org.uk.

We want to name and shame the culprits who give the Hajj Travel industry a bad name.

We also work with Tour Operators in advising them in delivering their promises to the Guests of the Almighty Allah.

at 12 years of age (at present 13).december 2006. i did hajj it was like soosoo cool man i remember crying everytime i saw the kabah. we went as a whole family .13 of us including aunts and uncles. it was like the most uoplifting thing ever being near the kaabah. being islamically educated and stuff i knew the importance of islam and thiongs but i still acted like a stupid kid visiting thorpe park or something it makes me cry now i didnt really put everything in it i had been like wearing hijab abd jilbab sice i had been 10 or 11 and i had read lots of stuff about islam and its history, but i dont think it was the most greatest thing i ever done in ihraam and stuff i argued with my sister, was always grumpy and things and never actually put my heart and soul into prayuer and supplications i wish everyday now allah forgives me and give me a chance to go agian and make the most of although our travel group were fantastique with slight glitches in organisation and time management b ut other than that they kept thier words.

ps. i loved the prophets mosque .... so calming....:o

I'm tenataively planning on going my last year of college (about 6 years from now), inshallah.

I'm also planning on visiting UAE while I'm over there and checking out the Al-Burj and Burj Dubai (two world's tallest buildings).

I wish to go this year for Hajj, Inshallah! I have just started investigating the booking process and am already very excited. Can't wait to go.

Would love to receive some recommendations regarding tour operators.

Jazakallah!

zaheer....seem a bit too enthusiastic about nabil hajj and umrah and love how you drop their link at every opportunity.. me and many other members of the forum are wondering why....good luck with your advertising.

p.s you sure you went in 2007? didnt see you in the group..and it really isnt that big a group, my friend.

I thought Zaheer was exposed by some member of this forum to be linked to Nabil.

He does turn up everytime praising Nabil. No wonder some of the members have suspicions.
