i voted both... I won't wear shalwar kameez or western clothing out of the house though... I usually wear a jilbab or abayah... I'll wear western clothing if it includes a skirt, and sometimes i'll wear a kurta over a skirt... but i like to wear a jilbab or abayah and wear western clothing underneath...
Jilbab! Which category is that?

Jilbab! Which category is that?
lol... they didn't include it... but it's not western and its not shalwar kameez.. so i couldn't really say... a western jilbab... or a shalwar kameeze looking jilbab... now could I???... but its not like i just wear jilbab outside, I wear it inside a lot too... so... yeah... and i don't usually wear the kinda clothing I want people to see me wearing under my jilbab... like i'll wear tight/short shirts or short pants... etc... so i don't take it off, even at home...

nah - its just you're kameez has straight edge, band collar and open cuffs - thats the same way I have mine made.
But you don wear shalwars - you wear a pyjama innit?
Im sure the pathans wear shalwar not pyjama and from the gujjis in UK - their kurtas are more fitted whereas pathans and punjabis are more loose.

I've got the waziristan shalwar kameez which is with cuffs, and round edges, and the collar is round by the button on top.
Then the deoband/jalalabad onw which is square collar with no cuffs and square edges.
I've got them both.
The waziri one is loose as you said, and the other one is more fitted.

But thats not the national dress of gujjis - Im MP. We dont have anything remotely like a thobe - but I wear a thobe. Our national dress is shalwar kameez.
Kurta tends to be cuffless with open sleeves and a straight hemline.
Pyjama - is more fitted to the leg and is ironed like jeans whereas shalwar is ironed like trousers.
I dont like pyjama - it can at times be a fitnah.

correction my brother. we can say that some Sahaabah Karaam wore clothing similar to shalwar kameez and hence it maybe a sunnah of Ashaab e Mustafa :saw: - but to say shalwar kameez is sunnah of Nabi :saw: is to speak a falsehood - we need to be more accurate with our words - not least of all when speaking about Huzuur :saw:

but rockies go with ANYTHING - they work out with trackies and they can work out with shalwar kameez and even can be pulled along with trousers.

Hmmm
Chav is a derogatory slang term in popular usage throughout the UK. It refers to a subculture stereotype of a person who is uneducated, uncultured and prone to antisocial or immoral behaviour. The label is typically, though not exclusively, applied to teenagers and young adults of white working-class or lower-middle class origin. Chav is used for both sexes, where a male chav is sometimes referred to as a chavster and a female as a chavette.Sounds like Birmingham is home to chavs then.

Pakistanis speak urdu only, indians speak hindi and urdu, the only big difference between the two is the way they're written, hindi is written like gujarati, and those type of languages, and urdu is written like arabic and those type.

But the pure urdu and pure hindi are very hard to make out. When we ever watch hindi news we dont understand what they chatting - when they watch our news they dont understand.
Its only the common language that is in everyday use that is understand - the official version is hard for the other side.

i tried to learn to read hindi-- it didn't work...
i also tried to learn to read urdu(well, i didn't give it a ton of effort) and it was too hard too... i can read easy words that aren't so jumbled... i can read arabic fine-and i like how arabic is easy to read... :)
