is there sunnah way to cut nails?

hi, im sure long time ago i read in book about the prophet (SAW) that he cut his nails in a particular way
does anybody know?

correct me if im wrong peeps, but you start with the index finger (right hand) work towards your right, then onto your left hand strating from the little finger, and you finish with the thumb on the right hand.

ummm....me not too sure, cos im bad and out of habit i usually start with the big toe :o

im fairly sure the Prophet:saw: would always start with the right eg. combing his hair etc. so surely you should start with your little finger on your right hand and and then your thumb on your left?

ALLAH Ta'ala knows best about it being established from the sunnah. What we can say is that it is from the etiquette of paring the nails that this method be used.
