ASA Sajeela,

After you log on, check your profile. Are your cookies 'on'? If they are not, switch them on through user cp/edit profile. Shouldn't have a prob. after that, inshallah.

The forum has a bank of avatars you can access when you edit profile. Or you can download a pikky in jpeg/jpg format (140l140 pixels max) from your computer.

If you have trouble, e-mail sajid at chatadmin@ummah.com and ask him to edit a picture and put it on for you (attach the picture you would like to use).

I have to face the same problem again today.
Wat to do and wat to not. My cookies are also on.
Besides the option 'automatically log in' I am looking forward
another solution to my problem.
Moreover, I tried to delete my post but could not because
i donot find the buttons which were mentioned in the method.:mad:

Oh dear. I am sorry you are having problems. However, the whole forum site has been having problems the last few days - no one could log in and use it for hours on end.

About deleting. When you edit, scroll up to the top where the delete section is and make sure you check the little box on the left before clicking the delete button. That caught me, too, the first few attempts I made :)

As salaamu alaykum

I found that if I followed the link fron my email notification my cookies did not function properly, and i would have to keep re entering my user and password.
But if I entered the site via my favourites or whatever my cookies work just fine, alhamdulillah.
Just a thought :)
