wanted to get some plants to put in the house
cos plants are good to have in the house?? i think...

Moth Orchids are nice.

Spathiphyllum Peace Lilly is one of the easiest house plants to keep... and if you forget to water it for a while..it looks half deadish, but then when you water it, it comes back to life and it looks lovely and looks nice in any part of the house... the moth orchids look nice in bedrooms and on window sills in hallways.

The Orchid plant is a bit girly for a boys room, So I wouldn't advise you to keep one in your bedroom, but.. if you're married It will look quite nice.
on the other hand, if you really want to you could go for white.

Because plants prefer females to water them.
Kitten's prefer to be fed by sisters too.
Also the hoover likes to be used by a woman and not men.

The same applies to all domestic house work equipment- the dishes like to be cleaned by....., the iron likes to ironed by....., the washing likes to be cleaned by.... you guessed it man. :D

The ovy is a good one. Almost kill proof. I had one for oh about 5 years before i finally got tired of the upkeep on them so quit watering it and watched it die. It is a very easy plant to care for. If it starts looking a little droopy just give it some water and it'll perk back up. I will tell you stay away from Ficus tree's. They are so hard to care for. I bought one once and spent like 50 ucks on it. It went into shock and died on me. Also peace lilly's are nice plants hard to kill but you must dust the leave at least once a week to keep any bugs and parasites off of it and be careful not to overwater it. . I'd like to get another but they are poisonous to my cat's. If you have pet's be very careful they are not poisonous. I have atropical plant once called birds of paradise, another one to keep away from as it is also hard to care for. I love easter lillys they are just so pretty. I also love the orchids. But my best advice is get a ivey plant. not the english ivy just your standered houseplant Ivy. VERY HARD TO KILL, Low maintence......perfect for you. :coolsis:
