is it just in london that 02 (BT hellnet) and t-mobile (one2none) networks are crap? i mean here the defy the purpose of 'mobile' coz you gotta like stick half your body out the window to get any reception! anybody got any tips on how to boost the reception?

well O2 here in the Netherlands many complain about its service as well ,reception suddenly fails when ur talking usually, am glad I dont have it, mine is BEN is much better.

Depending on what model of phone you have, you can enhance the signal somewhat with an internal antenna. These devices stick under the battery and can boost the signal a couple notches. To my knowledge, most Motorola phones already have them.

where i stay O2 and Vodfone used2 have such bad reception..but for the past year, its been brilliant

im guessing theyv put up more mobile phone masts someplace! :D
