My dear sisters and brothers of Ummah. I need you now more then ever. Please read.

Assalam Alaikum

I'm gonna cut to the chase. I am desperatly calling on my sisters and brothers for help in prayers and duas. I'm extremely worried about my husband Dale. His vertebre is popping in and out of place in his lower back, he's having horrible headaches, mood swings, a lot of dizzyness, he's walking like he's drunk, he's got a lot of weakness in his left side, loosing feeling in his left leg,having violent nightmares, lot's of weird stuff.

He's been falling asleep with cigarette in his hand (he claims he's deep in thought) and theres cigarette burns everywhere) which is scaring me to death. His speech is slurred, his vision is blurred bad. I'm so scared for him because his mother had cancer while carrying him and died like when he was 6 or 18 months old. His dad had died of cancer, His 1/2 sister has strokes all the time. And I researched all that stuff and he's showing sypmtoms of it all. :rubeyes:

Also with the extensive nerve damage in his spinal cord from neck to tailbone, I'm afraid is getting worse. He has hairline fractures throught his spine. Buldging, hernited, compressed and crushed disks in his back, and diseases called ankylosing spondylitis and reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome.

Also the other day I get a call from our pharmacy dale was trying to get his testosterone refilled because he has andropause which is a men's version of womens version of menopause. Our pharmicists called me and said dale told him to call me and that he wasn't feeling good and an ambulance is on the way. I was like freaked called my landlady had her run me over there (which is like 2 blocks away. I ran up to him they had him layed out on bench. Apperently something was all messed up on his insrance and he was denied getting it filled.

Was on his way out the door and said he had to use all his body weight to open it. A customer was walking in and asked him if he was ok. Dale said no go get Larry. I guess the guy helped Dale to the bench right outside the pharmacy and got Larry. Anyways Ambulance was there like 2 minutes after I got there. Asked Dale what was wrong, He said his chest hurt. He was in and out of it. I know him. He kept closing his eye's. AMbulance got there. I kinda followed. Had to pull over cause I noticed they stoped and wasn't turning and they was clear, so waited for them and followed behind. They gave him nitrol and aspirin. Got to hospital they ran tests EKG all that and said he had a bad anxiety attack. But our pharmacist said he looked at the side effects of a new headache pill Dale was on called Relafax. And same type symptoms of bad side effects. So I don't know what it was could have been a combo of the both. Dale remembered nothing. He came to in ambulance and asked why he was in there. Didn't remember me there with him waiting for ambulance.

Just so those that don't know us now have an idea how bad he is. I really need my sister's and brothers more then ever to say duas and pray for him and us. He's not being himself. Something is seriously wrong I feel it. A wife know's. And I am so scared for him. I've never been so scared for him since we've been togather. Something bad is going on with his body. Dana, it seems that there's so much going on with Dale that it's difficult to say what the problem is.

First of all, he needs to see an internist who's willing to manage his care completely. And by that I mean an internist who will actually sit down and read through Dale's chart thoroughly.

The internist first needs to take a careful look at all the drugs that Dale is currently taking. (Some drugs can have side-effects that produce some of the symptoms you describe.)

The internist needs to be aware of the history of stroke and cancer in Dale's family.

The internist needs to give Dale a full neurological exam.

In order to make Dale's treatment effective, you need to be present to describe the symptoms you've noticed.

When describing Dale's symptoms, try to remember as accurately as possible when you first noticed the symptoms, why you noticed them, and any changes in their presentation.

May Allah make easy on your family and you this time of test and trial. May Allah bless your husband with complete cure insha Allah.

Last September (2006) I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, which according to my Oncologist is curable. But it comes back in 30% of cases. While I was getting the Chemo and Radiation to kill this cancer, which didn't happen, actually after a series of tests, scans and MRI, I learned that cancer has attacked my body at two other different places. (1) In the left side of my chest beside left lung that has the cancer. (2) Also my bones mainly vertebrae has the bone cancer now.

Only Allah can cure me if He wills, otherwise, the only case we have to see how much and how long these cancers can be contained and/or controlled.

When first I learned about my cancer, I said "Al-Hamdu-Lillah and today again I said Al-Hamdu-Lillah, if it is Allah's will.

Please keep us in your prayers that Allah make everything easy on us all, especially upon my family. As far as I am concerned, I believe that Allah has created the cancer and only Allah can cure it. Otherwise what can be better than meeting my Creator, Al-Hamdu-Lillah.

Made an appt, with a nuerologist this morning after talking to my family doc about my concerns. They think he's having mini-strokes. And frankly so do I. Maybe sweethearts alerting us to him having mini strokes? If she is. I'm definitly not getting rid of her. As then she would be considered an aid dog right???? She already picks up on my bloood sugars being low, so maybe she's picking up on Dale having mini strokes???

Ameen to all the duas. I'm really scared for him. He's doing same kind of stuff as my landladys stepdad who has strokes all the time. He's not being my Dale right now. Jazakallah Khair!! May Allah Bless you greatly for your duas and prayers. Yeah my husbands health is in a horrible mess. One thing right after another. And honestly I don't know how much more I can take. I love him dearly and I'd die for him. I wold die for that man in a heartbeat. The love I have for him cannot be put into english words. Please continue saying dias and prayers. I'm gonna call our Imam and ask same from mosque members. His health problems are very serious. You know before Dale got put on remicaid and methotextrate, he was having problems with his spine so called bone and joint clinic which is the best in the states. Got him in to see doc. They had been doing FDA clinical trial to see if remicaid and methotextrate would put ankylosing spondylitis in remission (alhumduillah it's been approved). The doctor said they had been searching nationwide for someone with the extent of damage he has and also Dale disease was very progressed at the time. Doc said Dale was only known case with A.S. this bad. And it is helping the A.S. In fact dale is supposed to be in american medical journal sometime this year. So yeah his health is serious. Thanks everyone for your duas. Please keep em going as the tests have not been run yet and we don't know what they will find. He has a appt next week with nuerologist. Shokran!!!!
