If subjects like Extraterrestrial Intelligence and UFO's were real..and you had the proof, and the choice when to release it - when would you do it?
In essence, do you think we're ready for such a subject if it true?

This forum is really the only place I can talk about this subject, I can't even talk about it with friends or in public because you get some crooked face people look at you with evil eyes, with such disgust like I just run over a child.
I don't appreciate a similar attitude. You think this is a joke thread? I'm being serious, and acting like it's a joke is rude and dispectful. Get hobbies if you are in the mood for whatever. Luckily in the past hardly anyone has acted in such an immature way, with pathetic comments like "beam me up" or "phone home, ET phone home" because it is not derogative to the subject, but I take it personally.
I thought people were mature enough and I was shocked that the lot that replied in that way, the two cats (one now seemingly a Squirrel of some sort). If no one has anything relative to a discussion thread, mine or anyone else', then dont reply.

If in the public I say these things out loud, or approach someone, then I can understand such a reaction. But I'm not. With this thread, I am inviting people to the discussion, not enforcing anything, not asserting anything. If someone comes here and says "i dont regard any of this as factual", then fair enough. Instead, you have time to write and plan what you will say. You click on "post" and then you type..you edit..you post because you want to assertt opinion, or you want to challenge an opinion. Your posts were not appreciated and not mature. I gave you a neg rep, and replied in similar fashion. So what happens in public is different to what happens on a control form of communication, yours was intentional and direct - hence my dislike of it. I have one thread that shows photo's and video's that clearly shows what it shows. Look, I'll explain one thing to you. All this idea's, movies, television etc based on Aliens and UFO's was not created by some imaginative person 60 years ago. In the 1940's, nothing of the concept existed until sightings and photo's of people from all over the sector, you can dismiss the conventional person on the street, but can you dismiss pilots and astronauts and call them delusional? MONTHS after this, the first comics and shows were made. Based on these reports.
So it's not someone one night thinking "oh wait..wouldn't it be so great if these things were out there and they came in these little ships etc etc". And THEN people claim to have seen them? No that's pathetic.
Do your own research before you come here next time dressed up like a Jedi, it's immature and pathetic. Like I said, it derogates the subject matter and is mocking. You yourself are admitting to mocking, because you claim the subject matter is silly.
Don't mock if you don't care. Don't even vote, or read the thread if you don't care.

I haven't really said or promoted anything. It was just a hypothetical question. If.
I have somethings I can show you all that would get the attention of the regular poster, or even the most avid of intellectuals and chemistry/physics enthusiasts, but before that I wanted to get an idea of the attitude Ummah members have of the subject :D

Just a little off-topic, since the beginning of our time, and even now, more people believe in Ghosts than the idea of extraterrestrial intelligence. Even the atheists who use science to argue against religion, believe in Ghosts.
It just goes to show there is more social/cultural defiance, rejection to the subject of UFO's than anything.. It's become Taboo, and unjustly so, as all of us, probably, at the back of our minds knew it was true all long.
People like Kitty partly reject it because movies have been made, fantasy stories have been shared. And so in their mind they struggle with how fantasy can equate to to reality.
But what hardly anyone knows is that the stories of UFO's were not created by an author, or a child, it was based on actual sightings and events..but people have recreated that into Movies into something fantasy-like.
I can show things to you that will, atleast, leave you questioning or having doubts of your previous stance on the subject. But I'm personally not the type to tolerate a certain attitude.

Tell that to an atheist. That was my point. Even to those who ridicule and dismiss religion, or challenge the existence of a creator would believe the idea of a ghost...why? Because there have been too many reports, eye witnesses, photo's and videos from credible people.
Technically, there is more physical proof that UFO's exist but people just laugh at the idea of it.
I always ask them one question.
"Why? Why is it hard to believe that there cannot be only one planet with life, out of hundreds of billions of planets..and why is it so hard to even comprehend that if they were, that they had technology or ways to get here..and if that was so, then why do you laugh when I wonder this myself?"

I believe in Jinns, there are many descriptions/forms of them and yes, I would believe that they are these "ghosts". But I've never personally thought too much of it because we all believe it to be true....

You've probably watched alot of StarTrek or StarGate or some documentaries about aliens right? :rolleyes:
Anyways I've watched them too. People probably have sigthes Unidentified Flying Objects and have even taken a photos of it. But why is it that when people see such things they immidiatly assume "OMG, an Alien spaceship!"?
Some people report alien sighting if they see something "wired" in skies. Actually some weather phenomenas are so rarely sigthed, that when you spot something like it in the skies, you'll think that it's the light from an alien spaceship or whatever. The point is many sightings can be explained due to atmospheric phenomenas.
Another thing is, isn't it funny UFO sightings usually are near military bases or in countries like US/UK or some highly advanced countries? Just because it's a spacecraft that someone haven't seen before doesn't mean that it's some aliens from another planet coming to visit our planet. Sightings could also be because some people spot an unseen military aircraft that haven't been shown to the world yet. Of course the US or other countries would keep their most advanced technologies to them selfs. What's a better coverup than (indirectly) making people believe it's some UFO from outer space?

Oh okay, I'm with you now! Darn and there was me thinking it was something that would hit the news.
Well in that case, I would meticulously analyse the evidence I had maybe get a second opinion from a well-educated person who happens to have sound knowledge in that field, maybe tell my parents and see how they react, and then look outside of the box and think how people/society on the whole would react to the evidence in question. Fundamentally it all depends on what kind of evidence I had, whether it is worth sharing and if it would be of interest to the general public.
I would like to think thgat after much deliberation I would reveal it 'cos hey any information is good to share, right?

This might be proof from the Qur'aan that aliens do exist:
Surah Ash Shurah Ayaah 29:
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاء قَدِيرٌ
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.
According to this verse, Allah (swt) scattered living creatures in both the heaven and the earth, not the phrase [And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them]. Them means both the heavens and the earth and also according to this verse eventually He will gather us all up when He wills.
I tried looking at Tafseer Ibn Katheer but he dosen't really go into detail with this verse ....
If you showed that verse to a 100 Muslims, most of them would not concieve of the idea that it refers to extraterrestrial life (extraterrestrial means anything outside the planet), and instead dismiss the concept as "silly" because they're so caught up with the mentality that everything you see on screen is fake.
But what they see on TV (in regards to this subject) is mainly based on facts, just exaggeratred and visualised.

I didn't come with a Tafsir, I originally posted a link to an article which discussed the possibility of the Quran implying of Extratterestrial intelligence..I then commented on that famous verse, saying it's pretty clear atleast to me what it implies. I have never said where they were from, give me one post or comment I made saying so?
I don't have any theories regarding alien life, I just discuss the facts. And ANYTIME you want to challenge them, then challenge them instead of wasting your time adding to your collection of "crazy".
You constantly refer to the information as loony yet read more than a few sentences. Your a shadow of even your own logic and lost in whether or not to actually discuss the matter, or to childishly post more smilies and Star Wars quotes which you can't seem to leave out.

How are we supposed to know you were are being sarcastic rather than serious when such words are coming from someone who believes in flying saucers, etc?
Most sane minds would not even ponder on such a matter but you however are not like most people contemplating on whether children's TV characters are from certain genders, what they prefer, and the like- perhaps it all makes sense seen as most people also would find your beliefs in Aliens and such absurd.

None of the scholars through time have ever stated using any dalil that UFOs, Aliens, and the like exist nor is there or has there ever been any ikhtilaaf about this but you however seem to know better and have unearthed some fountain of unknown before knowledge of which our Salaf and our 'Ullema somehow were deprived. :rolleyes:

Teletubbie genders was a common joke, that I thought a Star Wars fan would understand. Except he took it as seriously as my discussion about flying saucers. Flying saucers exist, you make it seem like they don't? I could very well turn that question into "look at these comments from someone who doesn't believe they're real?".

That's another misconception. I assume you would call a Scientist a sane person? Name any scientist and tell me he/she rejects the idea of extraterrestrial life. :rolleyes: Now you name one who would look and read at all the 'evidence" for the existence of unidentified flying objects, and conclude they're "not real".
None of them would even entertain the concept, because they think by logic and evidence.
Let me make one thing clear. My only intention was to show everybody that there are flying objects in our skies and in space, that cannot be identified for two reasons.
1. They're characteristics do not come anywhere near those of any known aircraft in the slightest, and most Scientists and logical people would agree with you on that. (Ask me why this is specifically).
2. They have video taped, and photographed and confirmed (by 'sane' people, named government official testimonies and military contractors aswell as previous heads of the CIA and intelligence agencies. If you ever wanted a person to confirm these subjects, then these are the people. Ask for me details).
I have also produced documentation and video footage of strange objects which resemble that of those we see in our skies, in space.
Initially, the discussion of them in our skies seems to be inconclusive as one person will always maintain it's a hoax, because technically, most of these sightings can be hoaxes except a minority which even you would dare to dismiss.
I came here with what I deem enough evidence to prove to people here that there are unidentified flying objects, so we could discuss (on that evidence and whatever else peopel could bring) on what exactly they could be/from. I knew people would come here with their pre-defined shallow comments and sci-fi quotes (like you), but I was hoping we would skip that phase and come to debating where they are from. Because its without doubt that they exist.
Even an 8year old could understand that. If you don't think they're from e.g. outer space, that's fine, debate your argument, try to convicne others of that etc. I on the other hand, will explain why I think they are.
You can't help but connect the two dots together, flying objects + come from space = alien life? I made a personal interpretation, based on what I know, to imply they could be/are from outer space and hence they are not our own.
I have never said where exactly they are from, only that they are not from here. But we seem to have three different discussions going on here.
1. Are they real in the first place?
2. What are they?
3. Where are they from?
I have provided information for everyone here almost expotentially confirming they are real. Science in general cannot come to a conclusion because of doubt of the origin of these things (they confirm they are real). Some argue they're American aircraft, some argue they are from outer space. The difference for me anyway, is that enough people part of the government say it is not theirs. And ofcourse the ancient paintings which depict flying saucers perfectly sort of put the idea american aircraft flying thousands of years ago, into doubt.
I cannot stress that fact to you anymore. Read the discussions I have had on this in my other thread, and then read or fast-read all that I have written and research the matter yourself or any particular aspect. If you fail to do that, then you are not interested in learning if they are real or not - your just fixated on your current position, therefore I wont engage in further discussion because there is no discussion there, is there?
In conclusion, there is concrete evidence there are unidentified flying objects in our skies and in our space. However, there isn't such an amount of evidence to prove coherently that they are not our own in fact, which is why i wanted to discuss this in the first place. I didn't come here to enforce anything on anyone. I jsut wanted intelligent opinions on the subject.

Listen. Having just read what I said, can you understand why I seem to be drawn to that verse? I may not be a Sheikh, or a specialist in translation and interpretation of the Quran, but there are some things that you don't need to be, to understand. Often a translation can have alternate meanings because of the evolution of the meaning of a word, or due to different interpretation of a metaphoric expression. But when it comes to this..

May Allah forgive me if I'm wrong, but that seems to imply that he has created life in the heavens and the Earth, and when he chooses, he will gather them together.

I didn't say it was proof of anything. I read that and it showed, or atleast implied, Allah also created life in the "heavens" and thought it could be connected to this subject. What do you think of the verse, or atleast what does is it imply?
I've read that the term "heavens" in the Quran could be translated to "sky" or even "Jannah", but it is dependant on the context. But we know there is life in the sky already (birds), and Jannah is self-explanatory, but when it said Allah will bring them together when he wills - it's interesting, the implications are exciting.
I havent' had it confirmed, I'm just reading what it could imply and so I posted it here to show it what it could assume. So I didn't word anything definitive, intentionally anyway, so I haven't claimed e.g. "you see..even in the Quran it proves this or that".
