this forum is messed up

1. repair the search function

some threads/posts do not show up even if the search word is included

it does not accept more than two words in the search function

and sometimes even if you use one search word you will get an empty page as result


2. edit function settings

allow more time to edit a post (10-15 min.)

3. merge the "big debate - courtroom" and "the current events" forum

what is the use of a debate room? arent there debates in almost any forum?

lol I noticed the search, was annoying...grrr...the mods will say, do a search, but when you try the search gives a white page, very annoying.

4. password renewal

what about having it at the beginning of every two mth? if that is not possible then at least give a notification 24 or 48 hrs before you have to change it. a few times i was about to post a new thread or long post and then i had to do the whole thing again (as far as i could remember) simply because i had to renew my pw. that is so annoying.

oh my all these roblems..alhamdulillah i avent experienced anay..except the edit one thats just :torture:

oh and the automatically loggin out thingy..wen ur busy posting a long reply u get logged out and u lose ur post argh!!!!! i know copy it so dat i dont lose it :)

You're supposed to click the "Remember me" button, then you won't get logged out.

Yea my password is remembered.

And when it asks you for the password renewel, just set your new password the same as your old one.

Yea search dont work :(

When you log in, next to the part where you put yout name and password in is a small checkbox, that's to remember you.

The password renewal was instituted to help prevent passwords being hacked or having someone come on your computer and visit ummah under your username if you give away a computer or something like that

And when it asks you for the password renewel, just set your new password the same as your old one.

You have to renew your password every 42 days (i think) normally when you open ummah.com on the 43rd day it will ask you to change your password, then all you do is change it.

i've switched browser from Mozilla to IE now, and since using IE, i dont have that prblem, but not sure if this is really the case though, or just by chance?:D
