go to private messages on the top right of the page, then u will see on the left side of the page "settings and options" click on edit avatar ( dunno if u need a certain amount of posts or something before u can have one but give it a try anyway insha Allah :) )

You have to wait at least a month I think and I think you might have to have a certain amount of posts too in regards to both the avatar and signature... well, I'm guessing from when I joined last month :D

Im sorry i have to post here (its the only place i can lol) but basically i was asked to re-set my password and upon doing so i find myself ripped of all ummah.com privileges that we usually take for granted :D

I can no longer start new threads, access General, Current Events or Comparative religion forum, and often it says "you do not have permission to access this page" even though its a regular post, anyone know whats going on? :rubeyes:

for example a simple command like Quick Links > Today's Posts takes me to a screen saying

that happened to me...

what you need to do is...reset your password (by going to forgot my password) ...you'll get an email...(with a new automated password) go to your email...follow the link to ummah from your email...enter your username along with the automated password..that should log you in....and then Insha'Allah things should be working as normal.

i think i myt know why... go to edit options in your user cp and scroll down till u reach thread display options or smthing like that, there shud be a box that u tick saying show avatars.. maybe its not ticked on ur one

There is a option in the "Editoption" when you go to "User CP", where you can enable to see others sig. and avatars. =)
