The five pillars are:
1) To testify there is none worthy of being worshipped But Allaah, and muhammad (SAWS) is his messenger
2) To pray Salah
3) To fast
4) To Pay zakat
5) To perform Hajj
Reading Quran is not part of the 5 pillars, but it is an IMPORTANT act of worship.

Sahih Bukhari
Volume 1, Book 4, Number 142: Narrated 'Ata' bin Yasar:
Ibn 'Abbas performed ablution and washed his face (in the following way): He ladled out a handful of water, rinsed his mouth and washed his nose with it by putting in water and then blowing it out. He then, took another handful (of water) and did like this (gesturing) joining both hands, and washed his face, took another handful of water and washed his right forearm. He again took another handful of water and washed his left forearm, and passed wet hands over his head and took another handful of water and poured it over his right foot (up to his ankles) and washed it thoroughly and similarly took another handful of water and washed thoroughly his left foot (up to the ankles) and said, "I saw Allah's Apostle performing ablution in this way."

Actually Quran is the message of Allah (SWT) that shows what to do.... and Ahadiths are the messages of Prophets that show how to do.. So what ever Allah's Messenger (PBUH) stated, he (PBUH) with permission of Allah. so thats why Allah says in Quran at several palces, "who abide by Rasool is actually is abiding by Allah"

Wait a minute...from this hadith, it seems that Rasulullah (saws) only washed eat part of himself only once. Why do I do it three times, then?

theres more hadith about wudu, the sunna is 3 times.

i think theres seperate evidences that the Prophet:saw: washed once, twice and thrice, omitting the one wiping of the head back and forth and ears bottom to top, once is obligatory, if u do so two and three times this is sunnah, three being preferred i think.
thanks for telling me all the info now i am going to make a thread if u don't know how to do wadu please loook for it too ok because this thread was a hit and i am a hit writer too so stay tune for the episode of how to do wadu?
