Assalamu aleikum, if any of you have written any poems/raps about guantanamo or captivity (or anything else related) and would like to come down to fridays demo and perform..please do so (if you are unable to attend but have some poetry...please email to the address below), :jkk:

Friday 23 February, 6-7pm:
Shut Down Guantánamo demonstration outside the US Embassy, Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, W1 (nearest tube: Marble Arch/Bond Street).
Demonstrators will be joined this week by Anas and Mohammed El-Banna, the sons of Jamil El-Banna. This third demonstration will be a "Guantánamo poetry evening" - if you have any poetry, music or rap about Guantánamo that you'd like to share, please feel free to come and share your artistic talent.
It is half-term (again!) so bring your kids too!
