VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED TO HELP WITH FOOD ROTAS (N London & Birmingham)

Hhugs (Helping Households Under Great Stress) was set up in 2004 by
the efforts of the local community in response to the increasing
number of 'anti-terror' arrests across the country. For every arrest
and detention, a home has been raided and ravaged and a family has
suffered the loss of a loved one, a bread winner, a dear husband, or
a much loved son. These are homes where life will never be the same.
Hhugs provides practical support and advice to these devastated
households.

We are looking for volunteers for food rotas in North London and the
Walsall area of Birmingham. We need people to cook food and drop it
off in these areas. Alternatively, if you are able to cook food, but
not drop it off, or vice versa please contact us as well. Call us on

inshaAllaah contact them and ask if they need any volunteers in your area, a lot of the time the brothers just need someone to visit them :)

I thought it was the families of brothers that needed help?

well they are also in contact with brothers who have been released after being arrested etc, many live alone and are very isolated in their communities and need brothers to talk to

why shud they live alone? shudnt they be living with their families or with their parents/siblings?
