yea i have a question about the extension bit of chemistry...how do u make hard water soft? and i dont understand da whole radioactivty topic in physics. we didnt get tought dat bit properly cos ma physics teacher broke his shoulder. n my chemistry teacher cant even speak english...

Salaam,
Are you sure your looking for hard water? Because you are talking about radioactivity, and they use heavy water in that field. They use heavy water to store radioactive nuclear rods in.
In the US, over here, we refer to hard water as water that has alot of minerals dissolved into it. And soft water would be water than has been filteres, and free of the minerals. They have different tastes also.
