ermmmmmmmm but well he talked about the 4 stages of the 'journey of the soul'

1st stage - non existence, its only the soul, so just like death... erm nafs is when the soul is within the body though (but it can mean other things too sometimes like when referrin to 'yourself' 'blood' and 'arrogance')..... erm before we were put into our bodies and born we were asked the verse of covenant which is

[7:172] Recall that your Lord summoned all the descendants of Adam, and had them bear witness for themselves: "Am I not your Lord?" They all said, "Yes. We bear witness." Thus, you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, "We were not aware of this."

so like why do people still commit shirk if they have all previously said that Yes they believe in Allah swt? then he went onto explain that people dont remember and like when you were a baby and all little and cute :p that you dont remember those times, so when ur mum raises u and when ya act all naughty and that :torture: she reminds u of the times when she stay up lookin after u and takin care of u... and just cos u dont remember it u dont say 'ok dont remember it so cant have happened :torture: ' just like ur mum reminds u of those days of ur life... Allah reminds u of this covenant that you made, in the Quran :D 2nd stage obviously when ur alive...

then he went on to say that u should hasten to bury a person, because if they were a good person, a lot of comfort and blessing is waiting for him - so should wanna take him away from this world of worries :( ...and if the person was evil then u should still hasten to buty em because u can take away that burden from urself of that person...

He then said that Allah swt mentioned in surah Qiyamah:


[75:1] I swear by the Day of Resurrection.[75:2] And I swear by the blaming soul.

Nobody has seen the day of resurrection yet we still believe it, yet the 'blaming soul' everyone witnesses (like when u do sumt bad u can feel its bad).. so we should see that Allah swt has been so generous to us that he has created us with this 'blaming soul' a kinda court system within u so that u know when u have done wrong... and then u should think that like if Allah has created this kinda court system within us there must be a final super court system when everything is judged....

then described that the nafs can also be evil aswell...

"Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame): the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy: but surely my Lord is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful." (12:53)

Then talked about how the soul is going to leave the body at death, and how it does when you sleep too, and you witness this when u read that supplication before u sleep:

Hudhaifah and Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to supplicate when he went to bed at night: "Bismik-Allahumma ahya wa amut (With Your Name, O Allah, I expire and return to life).''
[Al-Bukhari 1458.].

In your sleep you're in a state of death, but it isnt ur final death, as life is dominant over death in this life..

then went onto talk about dreams and when u see dreams its the cosa the journey of ur soul...and how a truthful person is gonna have more truthful dreams... and how 6months before prophethood, the prophet :saw: would see dreams that would come true...

3rd stage - when a person dies.... soul comes out, body is left which is useless without a soul... and how u weaken a soul if u dont read the Quran... and how when a person is about to die, he can kinda see into the 3rd world where a window is opened for him to his grave life, sometimes u can see good things or like relatives that have died before... and this is why sometimes u see people smiling at the point of death.... but if the people aint practicing then there are bad signs too...

He then said...Sleep is the impression of day to day life, and at the the death bed u get a reflection of ur whole life, and how people are always like i'll say the shahada just before i die and it'll be k... but ur only able to say that if u've actually lived a life of shahada... and also like sometimes people die instantly so u never know...

Then he said that believers sometimes die with sweat their heads... and its like cleansing u of ur sins... and if sins are not forgeven from ur agonies of this world then they may be forgiven from agonies of death and if this is not enough then from the torture of the grave and then if the person is still not cleared of his sins, then will be on the day of judgement...

and how the day of judgement for a believer is swift, like the time between dhuhr and asr, but for a disbeliever it'll feel like 50,000yrs

then how ur gonna be asked these questions in the grave...
who is your Lord?
What is your religion?
Who is your prophet?
and what did you do?
and if a person didnt recognise Allah in this life, they will not be able to answer the Q's in the next life...

then he talked about how when ur first given life in the womb of ur mother its dark and small... and if u were to tell that baby in the womb that come out to this life which is big and has so many things to see would he believe u? so its an example like from this life to the next in the grave where the world is actually a LOT bigger (for a believer) where grave is expanded... cos only the body is in the actual grave not the soul..

then he said like how when firaun was about to die he said he believed, but this was only once he had seen the window into the other world of the undeen, and so his imaan was not accepted because u havta believe without seein...

there were some q's

like when children worry about their parents that have passed away, sometimes they see them in good or bad conditions... and if u see them in a bad condition should like give sadaqah...

erm and in jannah everyone will be of a young age... but children will remain children...

and for the people that have passed away you should make duah that Allah swt forgives their sins and gives them high ranks in paradise, and you can do charity on their behalf like saad ibn abi waqqas dug a well for his mother...

ermmmmmmmm but well he talked about the 4 stages of the 'journey of the soul'

1st stage - non existence, its only the soul, so just like death... erm nafs is when the soul is within the body though (but it can mean other things too sometimes like when referrin to 'yourself' 'blood' and 'arrogance')..... erm before we were put into our bodies and born we were asked the verse of covenant which is

[7:172] Recall that your Lord summoned all the descendants of Adam, and had them bear witness for themselves: "Am I not your Lord?" They all said, "Yes. We bear witness." Thus, you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, "We were not aware of this."

so like why do people still commit shirk if they have all previously said that Yes they believe in Allah swt? then he went onto explain that people dont remember and like when you were a baby and all little and cute :p that you dont remember those times, so when ur mum raises u and when ya act all naughty and that :torture: she reminds u of the times when she stay up lookin after u and takin care of u... and just cos u dont remember it u dont say 'ok dont remember it so cant have happened :torture: ' just like ur mum reminds u of those days of ur life... Allah reminds u of this covenant that you made, in the Quran :D 2nd stage obviously when ur alive...

then he went on to say that u should hasten to bury a person, because if they were a good person, a lot of comfort and blessing is waiting for him - so should wanna take him away from this world of worries :( ...and if the person was evil then u should still hasten to buty em because u can take away that burden from urself of that person...

He then said that Allah swt mentioned in surah Qiyamah:


[75:1] I swear by the Day of Resurrection.[75:2] And I swear by the blaming soul.

Nobody has seen the day of resurrection yet we still believe it, yet the 'blaming soul' everyone witnesses (like when u do sumt bad u can feel its bad).. so we should see that Allah swt has been so generous to us that he has created us with this 'blaming soul' a kinda court system within u so that u know when u have done wrong... and then u should think that like if Allah has created this kinda court system within us there must be a final super court system when everything is judged....

then described that the nafs can also be evil aswell...

"Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame): the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy: but surely my Lord is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful." (12:53)

Then talked about how the soul is going to leave the body at death, and how it does when you sleep too, and you witness this when u read that supplication before u sleep:

Hudhaifah and Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to supplicate when he went to bed at night: "Bismik-Allahumma ahya wa amut (With Your Name, O Allah, I expire and return to life).''
[Al-Bukhari 1458.].

In your sleep you're in a state of death, but it isnt ur final death, as life is dominant over death in this life..

then went onto talk about dreams and when u see dreams its the cosa the journey of ur soul...and how a truthful person is gonna have more truthful dreams... and how 6months before prophethood, the prophet :saw: would see dreams that would come true...

3rd stage - when a person dies.... soul comes out, body is left which is useless without a soul... and how u weaken a soul if u dont read the Quran... and how when a person is about to die, he can kinda see into the 3rd world where a window is opened for him to his grave life, sometimes u can see good things or like relatives that have died before... and this is why sometimes u see people smiling at the point of death.... but if the people aint practicing then there are bad signs too...

He then said...Sleep is the impression of day to day life, and at the the death bed u get a reflection of ur whole life, and how people are always like i'll say the shahada just before i die and it'll be k... but ur only able to say that if u've actually lived a life of shahada... and also like sometimes people die instantly so u never know...

Then he said that believers sometimes die with sweat their heads... and its like cleansing u of ur sins... and if sins are not forgeven from ur agonies of this world then they may be forgiven from agonies of death and if this is not enough then from the torture of the grave and then if the person is still not cleared of his sins, then will be on the day of judgement...

and how the day of judgement for a believer is swift, like the time between dhuhr and asr, but for a disbeliever it'll feel like 50,000yrs

then how ur gonna be asked these questions in the grave...
who is your Lord?
What is your religion?
Who is your prophet?
and what did you do?
and if a person didnt recognise Allah in this life, they will not be able to answer the Q's in the next life...

then he talked about how when ur first given life in the womb of ur mother its dark and small... and if u were to tell that baby in the womb that come out to this life which is big and has so many things to see would he believe u? so its an example like from this life to the next in the grave where the world is actually a LOT bigger (for a believer) where grave is expanded... cos only the body is in the actual grave not the soul..

then he said like how when firaun was about to die he said he believed, but this was only once he had seen the window into the other world of the undeen, and so his imaan was not accepted because u havta believe without seein...

there were some q's

like when children worry about their parents that have passed away, sometimes they see them in good or bad conditions... and if u see them in a bad condition should like give sadaqah...

erm and in jannah everyone will be of a young age... but children will remain children...

and for the people that have passed away you should make duah that Allah swt forgives their sins and gives them high ranks in paradise, and you can do charity on their behalf like saad ibn abi waqqas dug a well for his mother...
