its quite common in universities and colleges to have brothers and sisters not lowering their gazes which is sad but alhamdulilah the various islamic societies are working hard to ensure this is dealt with efficiently.

Yep, I think the backchatting about the speaker was more serious and upsetting :S I think them sisters were of college age, so not from the university though.

nope that is not possible! there wont be any official 'reservation' system for tickets. its best if you buy them online or buy them before the day as the brothers tickets are nearly finishing! and normally sisters sell their tickets faster than us!
if there are any tixkets left over on the day then they will sold from 9-5 in the SU building at QM. the same building as the prayer room, but theres no guarantee of tickets remaining.

Murtaza khan is so :coolbro: He is one of the few people who actually speak the haq and has not changed his viewpoint due the current 'scaremongering' tactics of the powers that be!

Tawfique Chowdhury is so calm and sincere and makes you feel so bad about yourself but in a good self evaluating kinda way! His khutbah today at East Lodnon Masjid was so good too! :up:

May Allah(swt) reward them both and all speakers/shaykhs to remain upon the true Islam and not be bullied into changing their views! Ameen!

umm yusuf told me she saw u and i think ukth al mumiun told me too, but i didnt see u and i thort ud be gone by time i was there , coz u usually leave early at these events.
