yeh personally i prefer cheese cakes and strawberry gataeu, black forest one is nice but too many cherry's spoil it.

I like to watch the uktv food channel every once in a while and James Martin IS the KING of desserts! Having said that, most chefs like using rich dark chocolate whereas I've noticed that most people I know prefer milk chocolate.

This is the easiest chocolate sponge recipe I've ever made (it says brownies but it turns out more like a sponge). It's VERY popular with guests and is best served with vanilla icecream or whipped cream and I like it best with my tea in the afternoon. The only thing I do differently when I make this is that I don't make it entirely with dark chocolate- instead I make it with half dark chocolate and half milk chocolate. Although the ingredients look very indulgent, it actually doesn't taste too sweet and the subtletly of the sweetness makes it all the more nice to eat:D Enjoy!
