Assalamu'alaikum,
As we all know, Allah is not supposed to be worshipped out of fear alone, but because of love and devotion as well. I'm just wondering, if anyone of you out there would like to share your experience with me, about a single moment of your life that makes your heart throbs with so much love for Allah.
I would also like to know, what do you do to rekindle your love to Allah, at the times when you forget Him completely. Please give practical stuff and not too much theory. Who knows, it might be useful for others too.
Jazakallah khair

Well there certainly would be a few examples i could give in my life alone and im sure other muslims too and even people of other faiths know there is a God and when they see his signs it fills them with faith.
My little example is actually of a book i once read called "FOR MEN OF UNDERSTANDING" by Harun Yahya. Now this is not a advertisment but i really would recommend all Muslims and non-Muslims read this book! The topic is Science, Islam, Quran, Space, Evolution, Creation etc - Its just full of knowledge from a sceinctific viewpoint! As i was reading this book it made me read more and think deeper and actually ponder over the great meanings of the Quran itself.
I know i stuck some theory or whatever in but since i read that book my Love and Fear of Allah has grown, hugely, May Allah reward that author and return us unto Himself (Allah) as Muslims.
well i love Allah from the top of my heart, also fearing for the hereafter
but one thing i realised is when i be performing my namaaz, i'm more closer to Allah than anything else, i could feel that Allah was right in front of me watching me pray, that is one thing that got me concentrating in namaaz, that is the only time in this world where we hav the chance to get closer to Allah

Here is what makes my heart throb: God's creation. Spring is here. The trees are in full bloom, the sky blue, the sun warm, the woods a maze of green, pink and white.
"The Heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of His hands.
Day after day pour forth speech;
night after night knowledge.
There is no speech or language
where their voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world."

3. Oh mankind! Remember the Grace of Allah upon you. Is there any Creator other than Allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth? No god has the right to be worshipped other than He. How, then, do you turn away?
9. And it is Allah Who sends the winds, so that they raise up the clouds, which we drive to a dead land, and revive therewith the earth after its death. And such will be the Resurrection.
11. And Allah created you from dust, then from sexual discharges (sperm and egg), then He made you in pairs. And no female conceives or gives birth without His Knowledge. And no aging man is granted a length of life, nor part of that life is cut off, but it is in a Book (Al Lauh Al Mahfuz [the pre-written book of creation]). Surely, that is easy for Allah!
12. And the two bodies of water are not alike: This one is potable and sweet, and that one is salt and bitter. And from them both, you eat fresh, tender, meat and derive the ornaments you wear. And you see the ships cleaving, that you may seek His bounty, and that you may give thanks.
13. He merges the night into day, and He merges the day into night. And He has subjected the Sun and the Moon: Each runs its course for a term appointed (the moon measuring the months and the sun measuring the days). Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the Kingdom. And those whom you invoke and call upon instead of Him, own not even the membrane that covers a date stone.
14. If you invoke them, they will not hear your call. Even if they were able to hear, they could not grant (your request). And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And no one can inform you like Him, Who is the Knower of All Things.
15. Oh mankind! It is you who stand in need of Allah. But Allah is the owner of All Wealth (which no amount of prestation can diminish), Worthy of all praise.
18. And no bearer of burdens shall bear another's burden. And if one heavily laden calls upon another to bear his load, nothing of it will be lifted even though he be near of kin. You (Muhammad/Muslims) can warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and perform as salat (ritual prayer). And he who purifies himself, purifies only for his own benefit. And to Allah is the final return.
19. And not alike are the blind and the seeing.
20. Nor are alike Darkness and Light.
21. Nor are alike the shade, and the sun's heat.
22. Nor are alike the living and the dead. Verily, Allah makes whom he wills to hear, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear.
23. You are but a warner.
25. And if they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs, and with scriptures, and the book, giving light.
27. See you not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and we produce therewith many colored fruits. And among the mountains are are ores white and red, of varying colors, and others very black.
28. And likewise of men and moving wild creatures, and cattle, all of varying colors. It is only those who have knowledge among his slaves that fear Allah. And verily, Allah is All Mighty and Oft Forgiving.
29. Verily, those who recite the Book of Allah and perform as salat and spends in charity from what We provided them, secretly or openly, HOPE for a (sure) trade-gain (profit) that will never perish.
30. That He may pay them their wages in full, and give them even more (extra) out of His Grace. Verily, He is Oft Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (their good deeds).
31. And what We revealed to you of the Book is the very truth confirming that which was revealed before it. verily, Allah is All Aware, and All Seer of his slaves.
32. We have given the book as a sure inheritance to such of Our slaves whom We have chosen. Of some of them are those that wrong their ownselves, and some who follow a middle course, and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds. That inheritance is indeed a great grace.
33. Eden, Paradise will they enter. Therein adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and garments of soft silk.
34. And they will say: "All praise and thanks are for Allah, Who has removed from us all grief. Verily, our Lord is indeed Oft Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate.
35. Who, out of His Grace, has lodged us in a home that will last forever, where neither toil nor weariness will touch us."

Very nice Hen,
What makes my Heart throb, is Gods Greatest Gift of All.
LOVE..
May the spirit of God live in all of us...
God permeates the whole wide world,
Yet his truth is revealed to none.
You better seek Him in yourself,
You and He aren't apart - you're one..
