erm why dnt u firstly chop and fry the onions, do u have oil aswell? cos u need it for that... so fry the onions, use the yellow powder 2wash the chicken (chop the chicken in slices and rub it into the chicken, it will be like coating it) add the chicken and fry that in with the onions, add in all ur powders which u got like ur gharam masala, garlic powder, salt and pepper (i think dont add the cinamon, i dnt think it goes, cinamon is a bit sweet) also add a bit of water too it but not alot or it will be too runny. if u want, u might aswell chop up some peppers n chuck them in too, or u can do it separately.
the rice u can make normally n eat with that, bt if u got ne round flat breads u could eat it wit that instead of rice, and probly use ur sauce with it. im not sure wat tobasco sauce exactly is but it may work, cos frying onions and peppers wit chicken cn make it like a fajita type thing. if u want 2 do that then make the water a bit less than if u would have it wit the rice i think. but also wit rice if u have jst that chicken n peppers thing and the rice, it may be a bit too dry or plain, so its better if u eat dal with it... just get some red lentils, add water 2 it and put the salt and pepper and uv not ne paprika or chilli powder so i guess jst put a bit of garam masala or something? also half clove of garlic, and if u want 2 fry some more onions and add that 2 it aswel? then boil all the lentils wit that stuff in it until most of the water is absorbed into it and it has a dal-like consistancy then eat it.
erm hopefully this helps, im not that great of a cook :p

I think this is a good site for recipes:
http://uktv.co.uk/index.cfm/uktv/Food.homepage/sid/566
If you want to go middle eastern, I'd suggest buying cous cous as well. If you do a search on the above site for "chicken cous cous", loads of recipes come up such as this one:
http://uktv.co.uk/index.cfm/uktv/food.recipe/aid/516248
Or if you insist on rice then just do a search for "chicken rice" and you'll get some like this:
http://uktv.co.uk/index.cfm/uktv/food.recipe/aid/514336
Some of these recipes may entail buying an extra ingredient or two, such as stock, but it's up to you. Hope this helps:)

Ok, I dunno how much chicken you have so do the spices to taste.
Stick the onion in a blender and BLEND.
Now put it in a pan with some oil (about 2 big tablespoons) and fry until golden brown.
Add the garlic powder (1 tsp?) and the chicken.
Now keep stirring this on a medium-high heat because it seals the flavour in the chicken and also gets rid of that horrible raw chicken smell (eww)
While you are doing this you can also add salt (1 tsp?) and ginger powder (half tsp?)
Do you have any chilli powder, cumin or green chillies? What about tumeric? If so, add about 1tsp chilli powder, 1tsp cumin and a quater tsp tumeric. If you have fresh chillies, do not add them yet. You can also add half tsp garam masala.
Now keep cooking this chicken, we want all the water from the chicken to disappear, so you only have the oil left at the bottom of the pan and the chicken to be nice and brown.
Now get a tomato tin and stick about 2 plum tomatoes + some juice in a blender and if you have fresh chillies, stick in about 2 (depending on how hot you want it) and BLEND.
Add this to your chicken, and just add a bit of water as well, maybe half a glass.
Now cook this chicken on the heat for a bit and stick the lid on.
Leave for about 20 minutes on slow- medium, but keep checking it so often to make sure the water has not all burned away.
Now transfer the chicken to an ovenproof dish and slice the peppers all over the chicken. If you have red onion, slice this too.
Stick it in the oven middle shelf at about gas mark 5 for about 20 minutes, then check to see its all cooked and cover in foil and leave for another 10 minutes.
Now for your rice you need to pre-soak it for at least 30 minutes.
Then bring a pan of water to boil and stick the rice in (drain it first)
Add salt, I put about 1tsp salt for 1 cup of rice, but do to your own taste. Add a little cinnamon powder too and a little cumin if you have.
Boil so that the rice dances on the surface for about 10 minutes or until the rice is not longer 'al dente'
Now drain the rice in a colander and put it back in the pan. Reduce the heat to slow and leave the rice with a lid on for about 20 minutes.
Now eat your rice and chicken with your tabasco sauce :p

u can try making some kind of chicken set sauce. improvise ur ingredients, if u have fresh tomata's adding one is great when it comes to making set (yet not all that reddish) sauces.
u can serve it with white rice.
