ppl were making their sig too long and it does clog up the place so sajid put a character limit on it, this was ages ago we did not shorten it recently.
i think the limit is sufficent 4 ppl 2 get an ayah, hadith, quote or something, or a link insha allah... we cant make it unlimited as ppl abuse that as has bin seen b4, bt u can gt the premium which i think will give u a little more room, also for pics 2 make it look nice etc and fund the forum
