Does anyone suffer from Fibromyalgia or chronic Pain?

I was wondering if anyone in here suffers from fibromyalgia or chronic pain. I was thinking it would be nice to talk to another muslim who suffers the same or is in chronic pain. Aso if you do what do you do to relieve the pain? Besides duas??

stay away from anything that contains the synthetic sweetener, aspartame, diet soft drinks, etc

and fast more often...fasting detoxes the toxins out of the body

May Allah (swt) ease your pain. I do get massive migraines and suffer from Mild Insomnia though :rubeyes:

I don't have FM but I have ME and know of people online who have both. I ended up joining an ME forum (where I don't think any of the other users are Muslim) because I found that it makes a world of difference to be in touch with people who understand what I'm going through, whether they're Muslim or not. Also a good support forum is the best place to look for latest treatments, medical breakthroughs and be warned of scams that can make matters worse.

There used to be an American convert on here called Dana who was suffering quite badly from Fibromyalgia (and she was living in an area very hostile to Muslims so she had a lot on her plate). I don't know where she disappeared to though.
