unless it's false marketing, it has to be able to record since it said VCR on the specification sheet. VCR = Video Cassette Recorder.

do u need it to record to VHS/DVD or it doesn't matter?

Yea bro belal is right.

I have a TV in my room that has a built in VCR, and it can record. The TV/VCR/DVD combo your looking at most likely can record on to VHS. But it cant on DVD.

I think a Tv/VCR/DVD combo that can also burn onto a DVD will be a bit on the pricier side. I dont even know if they make those...never really seen one.

if that's the case, then u might aswell look into getting a t.v and VCR seperate. these combo deals are pure rip offs.

if u want, u can get like this:
http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0098306959.116843254 7@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccehaddjlhehlgjcflgceggdhhmdgmi.0&page=Product&fm=11&sm=0&tm=3&sku=866866&category_oid=-30639

which is a very good t.v (it's screen is flat so quality is real nice)

and then a standard VCR:
http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0098306959.116843254 7@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccehaddjlhehlgjcflgceggdhhmdgmi.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=704214&category_oid=

price is about 167 GBP (that includes delivery).

i wouldn't mind being in NJ. places like paterson isn't so bad (though way too many desis i heard, but i never been there, jus theard about it). same with hoboken... that was my high school teacher's favorite place he'd tell us how "great" it was there and how crappy his area in brooklyn was, comparing the PATH train's easiness to L train's Laziness....

thats like a brothel, not to sound nasty. but yeah, its a very bad place. u know, once u goto pace, u will either never pray again, or u'll go insane and pray normally to escape that environment. its a very sick place.

btw, my teacher didn't call bk crappy. he was talking about the L train cuz on normal days it would go super slow and sometimes not work. but when it rains, it works perfectly so he'd just have to show up at work, no excuses. he was a very funny guy...

get some sleep, allah gave us the night to rest our bodies after all.

Here's my suggestion:

Buy this for £90: http://www.savastore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10291818&pid=44&rstrat=0

It has a 80 hard disk with DVD - Burner. Connect this to your TV at home and record documentary. You can use for ur own purposes too ;)

Burn Documentary to DVD disc (you get one free).

At school, connect your laptop to your interactive whiteboard (sophisticated whiteboards eh), play the dvd from your laptop.

If it has to be VHS, record program to HDD (on DVD recorder), connect DVD to VHS via scart lead, play documentary and record to VHS.

Alternatively, buy this VCR / DVD / 160GB HD combi for £200 (was £300)
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5333930.htm

And I'll donate u my 21" TV without remote.

thats like a brothel, not to sound nasty. but yeah, its a very bad place. u know, once u goto pace, u will either never pray again, or u'll go insane and pray normally to escape that environment. its a very sick place.

btw, my teacher didn't call bk crappy. he was talking about the L train cuz on normal days it would go super slow and sometimes not work. but when it rains, it works perfectly so he'd just have to show up at work, no excuses. he was a very funny guy...

get some sleep, allah gave us the night to rest our bodies after all.

walaikum as salam.

o wow are u serious....i know two sisters(my sisters friends) who go ther....:( ......must investigate...and try and get them OUTT.

Well, good thing the uni im going to right now isn't like that...but sadly there is a very low muslim population here. I wanted to see more muslims.....but whn I transfer to Rutgers ill def see more.
