Its only cos its an Apple, they hype everything, they're different to pears.

the amazing part for me, wasn't that its a phone. the amazing part was the way the graphical user interface (GUI) behaved. I heard from BBC that its using a version of OSX which i think is AMAZING. if it's using OSX's kernel and a custom GUI, then that phone is only showing a fraction of what it can really do. i'm sure the newer versions will include wifi incase this one doesnt include it. that means, apple will spearhead the mobile VOIP phone market. so soon you'll be using your skype or gizmo account much more often, using free or paid wifi access for phone calls. that is one amazing thing....
the latte order was just a joke...that wasn't amazing though....

yeah i know of those... i remember putting some links up for a couple of em...
but if u read my post, i mentioned the OS of the phone which is the attractive part. the wifi was just one element.... i imagine what else it can expand to.... probably a full blown Ultra Mobile Portable Computer at some point...
Phones not bad but Im never buying anything from apple again. iPod caused me far too much trouble.
Thats why most products you buy dont last that long, they make them like that so they dont last long.. they want u to spend ur money, keep buying there products...
Dont bother buying this, its gonna get damaged within a couple of days..and then the'll have something new.. out..

Apple is the new Microsoft... phone looks and sounds great, but comes with a hefty price.
Wouldn't consider buying it, no way.

Although im never gonna buy one...there's absolutely no reason or justification for the price. Its just to give it a bit of an "upper-market" appearance...
Either that, or Apple are going a bit slow on profits...but last I heard, the opposite was the case.
Have to admit, a lot of the features and ideas are very well thought through a very cool. e.g. the fact that the "keypad" locks as soon as you take the phone to your ear, or photos rotate as you rotate your phone :rubeyes: (i bet using your phone lying down upside down would screw that right up! :p)
