Well I've been busy being a housewife all holiday, kind of got used to it.. I just finished cooking now actually.. which is bad yes, but it's because I got into the awful routine of sleeping late and staying in bed late :embar:
Although when I was working I was fantabulous in terms of my routine, would sleep any time between 9-11 and wake up at 6ish.
So yeh, I didn't touch anything all holidays and wasn't even sure when I start back.. checked up coursebooks now and realised I have two assignments to be in tomorrow morning
They are only likkle though actually.. one is pics of display (err what display :eek3: ) or pupils work and a commentary on it.. and the other is a lesson plan and commentary for a lesson I did at the school.. 200 words and 500 words..
So it isn't bad really :D
..but I do have other "informal" deadlines which I also completely overlooked.
I'm shaping up to be a brilliant example to the pupils no? :smack:

Anyway I'm not worried.. I'll have it in the bag in no time inshaAllah and knock their socks off :D
..I just need some stability and to build an unchangable rigid routine and nail myself down to it. Holiday was big disruption to my sleeping pattern.. I ought to abandon this place again :torture:
My conscience would ban me.. I know, he always does :)

I thought i was the only disorganised person to leave assignments to the laaast minute..looks like im not the only one..:D
Erm..well get cracking sis..I'm sure you'll be able to do it..
looks like you'll have to miss out on a good nights sleep.
Insha'Allah I hope you get it done.. get a few persons to help you with them...the least they could do is help you research.

Sister U can do it, I'm the kind of person who gets motivated by the lack of time so I would always leave my assignments late...and strange enuf I'd get the highest mark too. I know that for some people this is a big no no so pls don't try this lol...
InshaAllah u can do it so long u know whats expected of you and u know where to look for the right information......

I used to think staying at home must be soooo boring and housework and cooking is rubbish.. but actually I quite like staying at home :embar: and you get a nice sense of achievement from making the house sparkle :embar: or cooking something nice :embar:
Maybe it is because I'm new to it though :p
But yeh, having kids and staying at home must be soooo nice :D
..you could read and write and go places and learn things and relax.. and not have to meet anyone elses set deadlines or do work they want you to do.
..anyway I do love teaching and I do love my course and uni too when I am there.. I've just gotten used to being at home so am thinking about a life blissful housewifery.. (I'd get bored after a few months :p )

Oh don't worry sis.. I've still never made proper rich dishes.. and I still would not be able to cook for a dinner party.. and I didn't cook at Eid because I wouldn't be able to handle that.
Trust me, my idea of impressive is not necessarily impressive to anyone else :D

No I'm just on the path to the darkside, and it's littered with curry powder and coriander.. but I'm not there yet.
Today I cookd the Qurbaani ghost we had in the freezer since Eid  ..turned it into curry with baby potatoes thrown in too..
Last week I made spicy mixed veg curry with aubergine, courgettes, baby mushrooms, green beans, and red and yellow peppers, it was yummy but noone eats veg in the house so it is still in the fridge
No more cooking now though because I'm back to being a lazy bum of a student again :hidban:
