I need broadband :) I managed the first 25 minutes of the first dvd and it took over an hour to get there, then I hit the refresh button by mistake.. I think I must try and buy the dvd.

One thing I did notice is that the pastor did not try and address concerns about Jesus from a Muslim perspective.. He spoke from His own perspective and I know that this will never work. Regardless of what you believe either as a muslim or a Christian, you must begin where the other person is at and take them to where you are..

If you start from a place that the other person feels is false, you are never going to convince them you are right and they are wrong. I would be most interested in seeing where he takes his discussions and the response of the Sheikh afterwards.

One thing that concerned me .. is it true that some tried to poison/threaten him after what he said the previous night? What did he say? does anyone know?

What Muslims should believe in: (Taken from Muslim site)

A sound belief of every Muslim should be that Jesus was taken up and saved from killing and crucifixion. Anyone who believes in the idea that Jesus was killed and crucified can no longer be called a Muslim.

(Wow!, They don't want you to believe He was crucified and arose, then you might believe He was a little more than a prophet!)

As for Jesus’ being taken up, whether dead or alive and the nature of the life he is now leading, scholars hold different views in this regard, as this is not decisively established in the Qur’an. The majority of scholars adopt the view that Jesus is still alive in the heavens and leading a life the nature of which we do not really know. (They can't explain why Christ was taken up alive since this great priviledge wasn't extended to Mohammed.)



If the teacher of your religion doesn't know the answer to these critical questions, are you going to risk your soul denying Christ?? Christ was God and Is God and your heart knows it. The earth and sky are separate but also one. just like Christ is separate, a son of God , but one with him also.

THINGS ARE JOINED! READ THE VERSE! MAN AND GOD, EARTH AND SKY! THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED THRU CHRIST!!



They tell you emphatically there is no trinity no other just Allah. But. who is the other one in "we" in this verse?

Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder and we made from water every living thing? Will they not then believe?

Surah 21 Verse 30

Sounds like more than one person speaking here, but, hey, Its your Quran.

Pastor stanley got OWNED in this debate. Didnt give reasonable answers to Deedats searching questions. Towards end he was getting flustered and annoyed.

And told the audience, that his wife told him to be careful because someone will try to poison you - lol.
