Although all of Gods's prophets were males, they were only sub-ordinates compared to the higer ranked female angels, like Gabrielle. Not to mention the prophets were seeking advice from here. Therefore religion is not sexist.

gabriel or jibreel is not female and Allah says to refer to the angels as female is kufr

Well in that case I just made a complete jack @$$ out of myself. But I saw Muslims at the end of their friday paryers, and they always let the females leave the prayer hall first. That's good.

So Gabriel was a male? Cool.

I don't think they are either male or female, and I have heard no evidence that they reproduce, unlike Jinn or Men. Women leave the masjid first to avoid public mixing of the sexes. religion certainly is tailored for men and women in slightly different ways in terms of daily practice, though the basic requiements are exactly the same for men and women. But if you mean that religion discriminates against women and in favour of men, then we ar in agreement. It doesn't. It caters FOR the nature of men and FOR the nature of women.

Plus Muslims women don't have to fight in wars, unless the invaders break into the home and there is no escape.
