this has been talked about in almost every security thread in digital highway, aswell as anyone new to computers, or anyone having problems with their internet experience.

but just to summarize incase you missed it:

grab lavasoft's ad-aware AND spybot search and destroy.

run em both, do the updates, then scan.

even after scan, you might still find a few more left cuz no single anti-spyware program can remove everything. so you might want to check out some specific tools, specially for something like coolwebsearch and its variants.

i also like HijackTHIS! and some of the other specific tools from http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/

that site is very good. try their CWShredder , its good for coolwebsearch.

even after this, u might find a pesky adaware still in your system. for that, google if your best friend. you should be able to find the name of the spyware through one of the apps, and even though they'll detect it, they won't always remove it. so goto google, and enter that spyware's name and the term "remove" and you should come across some forum with instruction.

read the security thread. i recommend it.

edit: learn from your mistake. DO NOT RUN YOUR COMPUTER IN ADMINISTRATOR MODE. and also DO NOT DOWNLOAD ILLEGAL THINGS.
