problem with sis forum

I have a problem when I go to the sisters forum. When I access it I only see posts from a month ago and I have to keep refreshing the page consistantly to see new posts and threads :confused:

This does not happen in any other part of the forum only the sis section. What can I do to go back to normal and stop this absurdity :mad:

There was an announcement thread in the sister forum or somewhere yesterday and I saw it :S

It said we all had to re-apply today.

It's not long at all.

It takes time to really get to know people on a forum this big and we are trying to give access only to sisters we have gotten to know and can be 100% they are who they say they are :p

Your post count doesn't meet the minimum requirements sis. Take a look at the questionnaire. Once the minimum post count and time has been met, and if some of the answers ot the other questions are yes OR we can chat to you ove rthe phone or msn voice chat, then we will consider granting access inshaAllah :)

PM one of the Admin/mods sisters with your questionnaire response once you have over 400 posts.

Sisters please, once again, be patient :S

Filling in the form is part of the process, but obviously it has to be followed up. We have been working REALLY hard on this, going through each form, coming up with mini profiles of all the sisters to see who we know enough to let in, how long they've been around, what their questionnaire responses were, who knows one of the other sisters we know well and can be vouched for.. figuring out if we have to phone or chat to them on voice chat.. PM'ing sisters to vouch for other sisters and getting msn addresses and phone numbers.

It's a lot of work! And we've let a lot of sisters through, very quickly.

But face facts.. if you have just recently joined, noone knows you or anything about you yet properly, noone can vouch for you or has spoken to you or met you.. then obviously you will have to wait longer and may not get access for a while, because we don't know who you are! ..and those who have given phone numbers and msn addresses, it will take some time, because I for one don't even have a phone right now and haven't used msn in a while, so one of the other sister admin/mods will have to do that bit of the process.

That is just how it is.

We are trying to create a forum where we know everyone that is using it, because that is the kind of place we want.

We could just let any old person in as soon as they ask, but what would be the point of that?

There is no point in anyone getting upset, impatient and repeatedly saying "I haven't got access yet" because it won't make it any faster.. if anything it is as aggravating as when kids keep asking "Are we there yet?" :(

Thank you to everyone for bearing with us though and going to the trouble to fill out the forms and so on. And Jazak Allah khair to all the sisters who've been encouraging and stuff too :D
