i stumbled into this thread...and now my brain is forcing me not too leave until i solve this riddle...
And...After much thought...Agggghhhh...I have no idea...
Why does he have a shop called 7 bells with 8?
Maybe He just can't count properly...*shrugs*

GOOD RIDDLE...*smiles*...Riddles are good if they keep u thinking...lol...but it's annoying too...
like windows...It's an annoying utility that keeps running in the background of ur brain working on a solution to a problem that u dont really need to know the answer to...but the system(ie ur brain) thinks that it will solve the problem for u anyway...Taking up valuable resources that could be better spend doing something else...lol

Isn't the answer that he miscounted but didnt change it cos he got more customers with the mistake coming in to tell him that he had made a mistake...So he left the sign saying the wrong number...

actually i think Ar-Raya got it right...cos he said the guy just cant count...He just didnt give a reason why he didnt change it...

how'd he know they would go in his store until they started going in his store...
Maybe he was pretending that he could count to cover his mistake cos he miscounted and then it was successful and then left is and told people he did it on purpose to get their attention...
