I'm having some broswer problems on a computer i use.
It seems i can only Ope 1 window at a time. If i try opening multiples, it won't open. Only when i close the window i'm using does the other open.

Anyone know what is wrong and how i can fix this?
I use IE6

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thats a very strange problem. have you tried pressing ctrl+alt+del to see what the processor is upto.

maybe try a trojan scan, or a virus scan, or even one of the ie addon scans...

I had a feeling someone would suggest that. I might just do it but i'd still like to sort this problem out.

I tried ctrl+alt+del but nothing strange appears to be happening. It must be something else.
I forgot to mention, on the admin account of that computer it works fine. The other accounts are just normal user accounts.

most likely you have a trojan/worm/spyware/adware/malware/youNameIt and I say that simply because you're using IE6 =]

You have to do a scan to make sure though. Check out the security thread and see what everyone is recommending incase you need somethiing to scan it with.

You should install opera or firefox and see if those apps lets you open multiple windows. Even if u hate firefox and/or opera, just test it.

It turns out you were right. It was spyware. I removed it all and now the problem is fixed. Thanks everyone :D :up:
