Phone them up, say you want to cancel because you want to change over to TalkTalk who give 8mb for free when you transfer your line over to them, and just to keep you as a customer, NTL will gave you a discount of around 50% your monthly payments! :D

I JUST did it now and they knocked off 50% of my monthly bill! :D

Its standard with most companies. Say you're leaving and obviously look as though you've read up on the competition - they'll give you a good deal to keep you there

Talk Talk Suck,

18 months contract
dreadful support and awful service,

one of my colleagues uses them, its been nothing but trouble and you are tied in for 18months, plus its only 8Mb if you are in a 8Mb area.

I'm in a 6.5Mb area. :) which is not too bad with talktalk, but bethere's 24Mb for £24 would have been a waste.

BTW the best to save money on phone bills, is to have no friends and no contacts.

I have tried this for the last 5 or 6 years , and my Bills have always been Low.

No friends, no contacts = Save ££££ !!!

Try it.

I have SKY and for the past year I have had the whole package for £17.50, not only that in between when I said, I wud like to cancel as I am NTL Staff and I have got a better deal SKY then gave me the same package for a tenner for 3 months ...aint that cool.

but I still believe I get the better deal with NTL. Broadband digi and telco all at £30.....now u cant find a cheaper deal when u try and get all three services toghether ( oh and am not a sales rep, so not promoting the company in any way, infact I will be got ridden of very soon). But ofcourse being staff I dont even pay that
