I don't think it's a matter of "allowing him" Allah (swt) has allowed them to do so...i think the question should be would u stay in ur place or get a divorce if he did?

I went to a lecture once and the respected Shiekh mentioned that the sisters should think about those sisters that are strugling to find husbands for whatever reason (ie being divorced etc)...

Allah could have tested the sister in that position...just getting the sisters view. :jkk:

I don't think that is a fair question because it is quite obvious what the realistic answer would be. Besides, any woman who is :hidban: because her husband got a second wife probably means something is wrong with the brother and she is happy to have time away from him :S

Disagree...The worst time and darkest of all ages was the time when the Prophet, peace be upon him came. He is the BEST example to follow, so the above statement I have to diagree with...

When the time comes when there will be 50:1 (50 women to 1 man ratio)...would you still hold on to your statement? :jkk:
