It is official: Sheikh Anwar Al-Awlaki is imprisoned in Yemen.

For many months there have been rumors and hearsay that our beloved sheikh who has produced such great lectures as The Stories of the Prophets and The Hereafter Series in a manner not delivered before in the English language was either under virtual house arrest or in some prison in Yemen. These rumors continued with some discarding them as just that but it has been now a good a few months since he has been in prison in Yemen.

May Allah give him sakinah, patience and release him soon.
