We've got one, they're really good..Take a little longer to heat up,but the ironing is ( a ) alot funner:p and ( b ) clothes come out alot more crisp ( c ) it takes way less time to iron stuff

forget ironing its a complete waste of time if u take your laundry off the washing line when the clothes are still a little damp and tumble dry them on a low heat, then hang them up straight away and hey presto no creases ( can even buy non iron shirts now gents)

don't u find the steam gets up ur nose - actually it'd be good for a facial :) lol

I'll buy a cheaper one for my sisters to use. My guess its gonna get broken in 'bout 6 months, n the one i'm gettin' will have a 3 year guarantee.

happy eid for my sisters :D

aaw, thats really sweet! arent you a nice brother....:) but to be really nice... buy the tefal one!

erm...why dont you do your ironing yourself?
..actually....come to think of it you probably cant iron properly..:p

I only do the ironing for my brother..because he cant iron properly and if he goes out with creasy clothes...its kinda my embarrassment. i cant stand when people faff about when trying to do something..

what type of Vacuum cleaner you got?

Mr_Jailer
25-12-06, 11:42 AM
Irons n the like break quickly in my home. To buy a really expensive one would be naive... n u only get 1 year warranty.

I can iron all my clothes, includin' shirts, but sometimes I can't be bothered, so I do a rough iron :)

My sisters won't know the difference between a £200 one and a £30 one... so tuff. I used my big sis steam generator to see how it worked. She folded a salwar, n ironed one-side in 20 secs, all creases got moved .

Fantastic to iron salwar kameez in seconds :D

Cotton is really hard to iron :torture:. Spend lot of time fluffin' around with that... thats why i try n avoid wearin' shirts, 'cos they harder to iron.

We have a 1600 watt Morphy Richards ecovac. Why?

I try and do my own ironing so i don't have to wake my mum in da mornind at like 7:30(iron is in her room) I get up all proud of my ironing only to be told to take it off and have my mum redo it lol.
Sometimes i iron them and go downstairs lol only to be laughed at and told to take it back upstairs and wait for my sister to do it. I do try...honest.
