Hmm ... first they measure it then they cut it and curl it round again ... pretty simple how its done they use some machine type of thing.

no idea of price .. obviously if you want to make it bigger then they will have to add to it and if its white gold it might cost quite a bit.

yeh i have got rings resized b4 cos got given presents for walima n ppl dnt know the size they jst get any so i got some resized, we got it free though...
some were free cos babas cousins wifes bro did it for us, but after that i got some more needed doing so i jst went 2 this big jewerley shop n they did it for free for us for the next day...
but some ppl say some kind of rings not good 2 resize em. depends if it has stones in and how they are set, and if the ring is thin or thick. like if u had a thin ring with some stones set in it, and tried 2 make it bigger they may come out and the ring will become even smaller... to make it smaller u might be able to.
u have 2 take it to a jeweler or expert n ask them wat they think about it.
but even in english shops wen u buy, if they dnt hav a size they can stretch it on this pole thingy, in h samuel we saw them do that..

as salamu alaikum,

If the ring is too big then you can easily get it resized or wear a band with it which is not loose. You can take the ring to a jeweller to get it fixed and it shouldnt be expensive at all. Dont know the price, sorry.

also if its too big sometimes can b sorted by wearing on the middle finger instead of 4th finger? cos middle fingers r slightly bigger...
sometimes i do that with some which are slightly too big, then u can jst wear another one on the 4th finger as long as they go together okay like same shade of gold, or silver
