.daa File Extension, What Software to use

As Salaamu Alaikum,

I've got a .daa file, I believe It's an image file of some sort (ISO). I've tried Nero Burning Rom, but it doesn't recognise it.

Does anyone know what software works for these.

Disk image format that supports advanced features, such as compression, password protection, and splitting to multiple volumes

PowerISO is the program to use, BUT I dont trust any file i dont know, unless you are able to change the .daa to a different file name like .zip etc
