Aston ISoc welcome everyone to their
ONE WORLD
cultural fair 2006
taste, watch, listen, experience...
Aston ISOC have organised this event in order to break down stereotypes and to highlight respect for the various cultures around the Muslim world. There will be:
clothing and [free!] food from around the world, workshops, bookstalls and others, art exhibitions, nasheeds and one of the main features: a charity auction... and more, inshaAllaah.
When: Wednesday 6th December
Where: Aston Students Guild Hall
Time: 1pm - 5:30pm

why is it that aston and birm always announce these things so late on!..have to give us somenotice ppl!!..some of us work and cant get out of work in time!!

why only 1pm - 5.30pm? Inshallah it would be better if you could extend it to suite people who work in the day?

Thanks for the suggestions. See, thing is...quite frankly...its mainly aimed at students..its also organised BY students and unfortunately cannot stay for too long what with deadlines, families and all. Also, we have a time limits in booking the hall etc.
But try and pop in for a bit on your lunchbreak or something to check it out, inshaAllaah.

deadlines?...Isoc aston uni events can go n for upto seven in the evening?!..i know!..i used to organise them!

Its gone down to 6 now. I'm not sure though, I didn't book it.
The point is, its too much work, hassle etc and we had less time to organise it.
Maybe next year, if its done again, it might start earlier, finish later or something.
