basically, wii delivered enough (for the moment compared to sony) systems to retailers and hard core nintendo fans and returning video game fans are buying into the hype. afterall, the ds, a system way below the power of the psp, managed to capture japans market, so the people had a little faith in the wii. sony however can't deliver enough systems. and even though they are sold out, just like nintendo, lets look at the numbers. nintendo delivered 600,000 systems, and moer to come every 2 weeks. all were sold out. sony delivered 100,000 systems and all were sold out. however no new system will come out for quite some time as ps3 systems are difficult to manufacture thanks to the blu-ray technology.
i wonder if anyone got a wii in here? i was gonna buy a xbox 360 on black friday from amazon, they was selling 1,000 xbox 360's (core) for 100 USD (normally its 299 USD), but they all sold out in exactly 10 minutes. see, i was on amazon from 1:30 pm EST. the deal would go live at 2 PM EST. the site, amazon.com, worked normally till exactly 1:57 pm. then it got INSANELY SLOW. i tried from 3 different comps, from 2 different connections, but for the next 10 minutes I was unable navigate to the site. then at around 2:10 PM EST, i finally got to see the deal page, and it said "SOLD OUT". how cwazy is that.....
i hope m$ brings down the price of the 360 soon. i want one. and if they don't, i guess the wii is not a bad choice. :coolbro:
