asalamu alaikum dear brothers and sisters. Im sure many of us are familiar with brother Jalal ibn Sa'eed. Masha'Allah hes a fantastic da'ee/speaker and is very influential when he speaks, particularly to the youth. If you would like to see him making a speech on the Global Peace & Unity event please email the Event organisers at gpu@islamchannel.tv. I am sure that he will have a good impact on not only the muslims, but also the non-muslims who will be present at the event (or watching it on TV). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make your requests to the Islam channel team (and pass the word on to others) as they will call the speakers that WE want to hear inshallah. Jazakallah khairan.

Action to take:
Send an email to gpu@islamchannel.tv
Phone the Islam Channel offices on 0207 374 4511 and ask to speak to the GPU event organisers (you can even ask to speak to the CEO Mohammad Ali personally regarding this (if he is available). His email address is pr@islamchannel.tv
Also every other day from 10-12pm, Islam Channel have a live programme dedicated to the GPU event and deal with any requests/questions.
and most importantly, make the du'a for him!

well lets just say he is not one to miss out on opportunites to give dawah, especially a great event like this, a chance to speak to so many muslims and non-muslims...insha'Allah he WOULD make the speech.
Oh and another thing you can do is get on the islam channel forum and have a good moan at them too!

So if the Akhy actually wants to speak he can just go up to Islam Channel CEO Br. Muhammed Ali and just request so- he has a good relationship with him and thus wouldn't be taken/ recieved in the wrong way like if as though he wants name and fame infront of the audience and cameras to be on stage seen by all at GPU, or live on air on Channed 813, than on DVD, nor wants his pics taken for Islam Magazine, etc. so they'd allow him isn't it? :scratch:
If the Akhy thinks this is too direct than insha'allah tell him to make a request through an Al Fitra bro or yourself.
Other than that I am pretty sure he has already been given a responsibility on the day as one of the volunteer coordinators- which in itself is quite a big task in the background behind the scenes considering the number of attendees and the venue.

Ukthy he is actually taking an active role in the GPU event and is going to be there with his org Al Fitra, their selling tickets and are part of the volunteers stewards team.
From what I know the bro is one of the steward heads like last year but apparently Akhy/ Ukthy contemplator thinks he would be up for speakers position too so needs us to 'influence' Islam Channel for this- but if the Akhy actually wants this than he himself or some next Al Fitra bro can make requests to them and if feasable than khalas if not he has still a very important role to fulfil but in the background scene.

Have you and the Muslim community in Germany seen Islam Channel? What are your thoughts? Do you view via the Net or on the Box? :confused:
Are many German Muslims coming over to the UK for this GPU event?

Speakers are called by invitation only by the GPU team, they cant just invite themselves, so its either by demand by the ppl or decided already by the organisers.

Lets just say that if he was asked to take part, he would be more than happy to and it WOULD be his cup of tea! and your not forcing your opinion on IC its a request and its not too late although theres a week left it can still be organised by the GPU team

yes he is the head etc and it wouldnt be right to get the alfitrah bros to make requests as it obviously wont look good trying to promote their organisation. So that leaves US!!

akhi i dont think anyone underestimates him, particularly those who know him. i just feel this is being all too pushy now :|

The impression I get from listening to brother Jalal on Islam channel is that he is islamically active in dawa type projects based within London,
If brother Jalal gets to do a lecture on the global peace and unity event, this will be an absolute treat for those who live outside London

Salaam all!! Jazakallah khair for all those who took the time out to email/phone Islam channel regarding brother Jalal...although it wasnt really a speech as i had hoped and prayed for, at least he came on doing his good work....and commenting on that music IS haram!! May allah reward us all. ameen
