I think this is going to be rather difficult because people pronounce and transliterate differently.

so say you write

g- that is a hard sound in English, most arab learners don't use the g, rather they will use the j

instead of gameel they will write it jameel

so I think to teach someone arabic it shouls be in arabic and you can add the transliteration as well as the translation that would be more helpful in shaa Allah.
