ABU BAKR SIDDIQ ISLAMIC
CENTRE
TEL: 01223 350 134
This is the main mosque in Cambridge, located just off Mill Road. Prayers are held five times a day, and Friday Prayers are held at 1.15 - 1.50 pm. There is a special section for ladies upstairs. The Mosque is too small to accommodate Eid prayers, so these are normally held elsewhere (often Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre).
Study circles are held for men on Fridays (in English) and on Sundays (in Arabic) between Maghrib and Isha prayers. Ladies' study circles are held weekly in the community. Classes for children are held on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
In Ramadan, meals are provided each day for breaking the fast (thanks to kind sponsorship from local restaurants).
The Muslim community in Cambridge is diverse: members of the congregation are from the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, the Far East, and there is also a growing number of indigenous English Muslims as well as a number from Europe.
The Mosque regularly hosts visits from individuals and groups, including school visits and college groups as well as church groups. If you would like to make an appointment, please email: info@isoc.co.uk

"And truly the Mosques are for God alone; so do not call upon any other along with God."
